Professional Journey & Current Role
Maynor currently serves as Market Manager for the Expedia Group covering Belize and the Guatemala — a role he has held for the past three years. During this tenure, he has been instrumental in crafting and executing campaigns that leverage Expedia’s global distribution channels for the unique travel market of Belize and neighbouring regions.
Prior to this role, he served as Marketing Director for the Belize Tourism Industry Association (BTIA), and later as Digital Marketing Manager for the Belize Tourism Board (BTB). These positions gave him deep insight into both private-sector tour operations and public-sector destination marketing, enabling him to bridge strategy and execution in digital channels.
Digital & Strategic Expertise
Maynor’s digital marketing acumen is built on a foundation of analytics, web development, UX, content strategy and social-media storytelling. He holds a Google Analytics certification and leverages his UX/web development skills to ensure digital assets are
optimized for performance and conversion. At the BTB, he was quoted emphasizing the importance of unified dashboards and standardized metrics across traditional and digital channels. major regional events including the CAMACOL Hemispheric Congress in Miami, the
Guatemala Tourism Congress, the Tourism Marketing Congress (Nicaragua), and annually
at Belize’s Digital Marketing Summit hosted by the BTB as well as organizer and speaker of
the 1st AI Summit in Belize. In his role as trainer and mentor, he has designed and led
workshops such as “Content is King”, BTB’s Social Media Workshop, BTIA’s Marketing
Seminar, and professional-business behaviour seminars for tour-operators and Marketing
& Sales Tactics for the Chamber of Commerce in Belize.

Maynor holds a double major Bachelor of Arts in International Marketing and International
Commerce.
When he’s not immersing himself in digital campaigns, he enjoys travel, photography (he is
an award-winning photographer), and community service. An active member of the Rotary
Club and currently the membership director at the Rotary Sunrise Club of Belize as well as
the next incoming president, he mentors driven young professionals and supports local
